Super Spit?

There is more to saliva than you think. Dentists know that saliva is important in preventing tooth decay. It washes away debris and keeps your mouth from becoming too acidic (acid is bad for teeth). But new research has found that saliva also has elements that can help detect disease. 

 

For example, researchers at the University of California have found that saliva tests can screen for cancer or diabetes. Link to story below:
